Terms and Conditions

By purchasing a commission from me (the artist) you agree to be purchasing my services only. If you have a problem with any of the below conditions, they may be changed if discussed with me prior to paying for your commissioned piece.Please read the terms carefully:I, Zyrael (the artist):I reserve the right to cancel and refund the order at any time for any reason.I reserve the right to change my commission prices based on the demand for my work. (Please note that price changes do not apply on commissions that I have agreed to work on before the change. The changes would be applied on new commissions that I receive after the changes are set.)I retain all copyrights over the commissioned artwork.I will NOT claim the intellectual property (IP) of the commissioned artwork.I will NOT profit further from the commissioned artwork unless you (the customer) break any of the terms.I reserve the right to post the commissioned artwork online, in my portfolio as well as in publications such as art books.
You (the customer/commissioner):You may upload the commissioned artwork on any website and social channels.You may NOT make profits from the commissioned piece (reselling, redistributing, uploading to POD-services, make prints to sell, etc.)You may NOT alter the commissioned artwork without my (the artist's) consent.You retain the rights to the intellectual property (IP).You may NOT use the commissioned artwork for commercial purposes. Frequently Asked Question(s)

What type of software do you use for your artwork?

I use Clip Studio Paint EX as my primary software for art/illustration.

What is the resolution you work on for your artwork?

For emotes, I work on a 5000x5000 canvas at 600 PPI. For character illustrations, I work on a A4 size canvas at 600 PPI. If you require a specific canvas/resolution size, I can make adjustments to your liking.

What are your "do's" and "don't's" for commissions?

How will I (the customer) receive my commission once it's completed?

Upon completion, I will give you the commission via PNG format at 600 PPI. You may also request for the original PSD file after completion. Files will be sent over to the email you used to fill out my form in a compressed folder.

For emotes, I will send them at their respective resolutions as needed for the platform you intend to use them on (Discord and/or Twitch.)

What are your payment methods?

I will be using PayPal as my primary payment method.

When do I send payment for my completed commission?

For emote commissions, I will ask for full payment once the commission is completed and receives complete approval from you.

For character illustration commissions, I will ask for half payment after the initial sketch is approved. The other half will be asked for once the commission is completed and receives complete approval from you.

How long will it take for my commission to be completed?

It will depend on what you (the customer) requests for and how many commissions I'm actively working on.

For all clients, I will always ask if I must meet a deadline. If a deadline is specified to me, I will do my utmost best to give you your commission within the time frame I'm given. If there is no deadline, I will do my best to complete your commission in as little as 1-2 weeks. If it is taking me longer than 2 weeks, I will contact you via email.
